I woke up extra early to get some work stuff done on the computer so that I could spend the day with this kid. I usually have him during the week, so we do not get to have the adventures that we used to so that he can have much needed time with his mama.
Today we went to Bok Tower and played and explored all day long. As we were getting back, he asked if we could go throw the football at Holloway Park...he just didn’t want to go back and sit at our apartment. I asked him why. He said, “I just want to squeeze every drop out of today.” Me too kiddo. #dadlife#kids#boys#myson#instagood#instagram#instalove#boktowergardens#family#love#life
It’s beginning to look a lot like winter. Maybe I have to start taking pictures before the run instead of after 🤔 So finally stepped up to a watch with a heart rate monitor, so I wanted to compare it to a similar paced run that I had done with the cheat strap. And what a difference. Huge spikes with the just the watch, heart rate average was way higher, and overall the run was slower! And it was 6 degrees colder today too so I barely broke a sweat. So if you’re running with your heart rate, wear a chest strap. You don’t even have to get an expensive one. I think I found mine on eBay for $15. No joke. Sure, they’re a little uncomfortable at first. But a couple runs in and you don’t really notice it. I actually kind of missed it today. 😢
My top tips on staying as healthy as you can👍
1️⃣ Be physically active for 30 minutes most days of the week.
2️⃣ Eat a well-balanced, low-fat diet with lots of fruits, vegetables and whole grains.
3️⃣ Drink in moderation if you drink alcohol. Never drink before or while driving, or when pregnant.

So recently I started one of the most difficult workout programs I have ever done. It is constantly pushing me physically and mentally every day. I have had moments were I have thought about stopping. Times when I thought I might not be able to finish. In those moments I lean into my accountability partner, my beautiful wife.
I know, I am a lucky guy.
It is so vital to have someone to lean into when things get tough. To help motivate me and support me.
If you have goals to reach, what better way then to find a person or a group to motivate and support each other. To reassure when we fail and the celebrate when we are victorious.
My wife and I would love to welcome you into our upcoming health and fitness accountability group. We will be doing daily workouts, following amazing meal prep and portioning plans, and getting all the results we want. And what a great time to get some results, give yourself the gift of healthy living right before the holidays. Let me know when you want to get started!
