Inzake ambiance check foto’s.
This is more a comment on processed foods than on eating meat. Many mainstream veggie meat replacements are also so heavily processed that they are unhealthy (comment below if you’d like brand names). In the move towards better health, especially in this country, a key first shift is to replace processed foods (anything in a package, can, or box) with Whole Foods — no matter if they are plants or animal products. Of course I am a big advocate of also eating a plant-based diet, and a low sugar diet, but we have to go a step at a time!🙏🏽🌍❤️

Established in 1956, the Mary Duke Biddle Foundation works to encourage, promote, and nurture the arts and K-12 educational communities in Chatham, Durham, Orange, and Wake counties in North Carolina. The foundation is guided in that mission by the belief that the arts are critical in maintaining strong community ties, preserving culture, and establishing important human connections.
To advance this mission, the foundation is inviting applications for its K-12 Education Program. Through the program, grants of up to $10,000 will be awarded in support of new in-school and out-of-school programs for underserved K-12 students that provide innovative, creative, and effective approaches to teaching and learning, with a focus on programs that address the opportunity gap these students can experience.
The foundation has identified the following priority areas: academic proficiency in English/language arts, STEM/STEAM subjects, history, government, and civics; grade-level reading proficiency; digital literacy; project-based learning, experiential learning, and other hands-on learning opportunities; comprehensive student success to help students prepare for college or career; and professional development opportunities for educators in the aforementioned areas.
The foundation will be hosting pre-LOI application conversions between August 15 and September 13. Letters of Intent will be accepted between September 16 and October 1. Upon review, selected applicants will be invited to submit a full proposal by December 16, 2019.
See the Mary Duke Biddle Foundation website for complete program guidelines and application instructions.
