Let’s talk a little about my diet: Soo I mainly eat paleo based-with the exception of Greek yogurt- bc I LOVE fats (gimme all the avocados, nuts and chocolate plss) but every once in a while I will have grains (literally just whenever I feel like it but not often). I follow the 80/20 rule where I eat healthy 80% of the time and the other 20% is for whatever I want aka this beautiful concoction I had last week for dessert 😛😛😛. I don’t track macros but I follow intuitive eating! I honestly love my diet and eating healthy so if anyone has any questions or needs tips/advice feel free to ask!

Here’s a lil update...so about three weeks ago I felt like I plateaued, I wasn’t really all that motivated and I was just going through the motions. I decided to step things up and intensify all of my workouts (heavier weights and lots of functional training). As for my nutrition, it’s basically the same as it has always been except I’m watching my portion control a bit more (yes I like to eat a lot srry). But so far I’d say that my new regimen I guess you could call it has been working! P.S. my 2018 goal was to improve my cardiovascular endurance and as of today I got my resting heart rate down to 51!!!!!

My 🍑 is on fire holyyyy!! So I did a slightly different version of my glute isolation workout that I’ve posted on my page before. I swapped some exercises with pistol squats (literally insane omg they hurt so much), single leg deadlifts, and then just some basic machine work. I definitely recommend switching up your routines or even just making slight adjustments to them every now and then to really see results!! Okay well now I’m gonna go down a banana chocolate PB shake 😋😋

Hi friends so I said that one of my goals for 2018 was to improve my cardiovascular endurance by running 3.5 Miles once a week and by increasing my warm up time for my workouts by running an additional 30 seconds each week! It’s almost been 4 weeks and wowwwww I can already tell the difference!! I used to be out of breath at the 5 minute mark but now I’ll have run for 10 minutes and still be fine. Really can’t wait to see where I’ll be in another few weeks!! Here’s to sticking to our 2018 goals WOO!!!

I LOVE TRAINING ARMS!!!!!!! I don't train them that often though bc I usually train them enough in my HIIT circuits and my arms naturally gain muscle pretty easily! Butttt my go to arm workout consists of mostly dumbbell work focusing more on higher weight and less sets/reps (2x12 of each): Lateral raises, front raises, shoulder press, chest in and outs (idk what they're called??), bicep curls, hammer curls, and tricep extensions!! I also love doing basically any back machine!

This is an old picture but I decided that my 2018 fitness goal is to increase my cardiovascular endurance (I h8 cardio and I h8 running) so to do this I'm gonna run for 5 minutes before my workouts and gradually increase the time by 30 seconds every week. I'm also gonna try to run/walk 3.5 miles once a week! I wish I liked running so hopefully this will make me like it?? Or maybe it'll make me hate it even more?? We'll see but I'll never know unless I try!!! Ammirightt??!!🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

Let's talk about abs and progression: some days you may see them and some days you won't!! Don't stress about it though bc this is completely normal!!! It really all depends on what you ate, how much water you're holding onto, what time of day it is, and even what kind of workout you did. So don't base your results off of whether you have abs or not because you'll end up being totally inaccurate. Instead, base your results on performance! For example, today I went to a boxing class that I used to go to over the summer and I felt like I had so much more power, strength, and flexibility than I did when I was taking the class over the summer. I also didn't feel as fatigued which made my form improve and allowed me to go even harder. HAVE A WONDERFUL FRIDAY EVERYONE!!

1 and a half years AND 10 pounds later..On the picture to the left I was underweight, had lost my period because my body fat percentage was much too low, was not a functional athlete and was only doing cardio and lifting, and I was tracking macros (not clean food just whatever fit my macros). On the picture to the right Im much stronger and a much more functional athlete, am in the correct weight range, got my period back, and am not tracking but eating mostly clean foods that allow me to perform my best! In 2017 I reached a huge fitness goal of mine and I can't wait to see what 2018 will bring!

Merry Christmas Eve everyone!!! Here's a healthy chocolate chip cookie recipe to celebrate.😊😊
Ingredients: 2 cups almond meal or flour, 1/4 cup coconut oil, 3 tablespoons pure maple syrup or honey, 1/4 teaspoon sea salt or pink Himalayan salt, 1/2 teaspoon baking soda or baking powder, 2 teaspoons vanilla extract, and cut up some dark chocolate pieces. Mix everything together and roll up little balls or cut some shapes out and stick them in the oven for 12-14 minutes on 350 degrees! ENJOY🎄🎄

HEALTHY TRUFFLE RECIPE WOO!!
I literally just made up this recipe on the spot so I didn't really measure anything but I mixed rolled oats, raw cacao powder, stevia, and coconut oil. I then added teaspoons of water little by little until I got a sticky consistency. I chopped up some almonds and dark chocolate and added it to the mixture! Finally I put them in the fridge to set and there ya go HEALTHY TRUFFLES YAY!!

I've been drowning in studying these past few days since I have three exams between tomorrow and Tuesday. 😅 But today I took a break to go to one of the gyms on campus (not the one that I usually go to) to use their boxing studio but IT WAS CLOSED :( I just did a HIIT circuit instead and decided it would be a good idea to use the sauna since the gym I usually go to doesn't have one but of course it was out of order...so basically my gym experience was not good at all today 😂 But it's okay because now I'm drinking my healthy hot chocolate (1 TBLSP Raw Cacao Powder, 1 Stevia Packet, Hot Water, & Almond Milk). I think I like front squats more than normal squats?? I feel like it's a better full body workout (at least for me) because my core is even more engaged than in normal squats and my arms are also much more engaged. I literally only put five pounds on each side for 3 sets of 12 and I usually do these after my normal squats for an awesome burnout!
