This weekend we celebrated Oktoberfest in 🇨🇦 with a German 🇩🇪 feast. A few weeks late but glad we fit it into a busy October. Cooked the schweinshaxe on the Weber Smokey mountain and finished it on the rotisserie for extra crispy crunch. Accompanied with sauerkraut and roast potatoes. Pork knuckles were from @broekporkacres...check them out for some very tasty 🐷. 📸 @pointintimeyyc

A trio of life-drawing sketches I did as demonstrations during the final day of my workshop this weekend at @thecourtyardartstudio
I particularly enjoyed the first drawing with pastels, something I’m fairly new too - must do some more.

Crops from Thursday. To answer the materials question a lot of people have ask, my go-to for the last few years has been Nobel Woodless Charcoal Pencils medium (last photo) and sometimes an eraser of varying size. The pencils have been wildly inconsistent in quality lately but I love them none the less. I didn't even know how much I love them until I wasnt able to find them in the stores over the last couple of months. Thankfully they were back in stock again and I bought as many as I could :) Does anyone know where I can find more information on the company (Nobel)? #lifedrawingintoronto
