Just my brother and I, tilling the land. Today we laid down peet moss after laying down new grass seed. Feels so good putting some love into the land.

In 2017 , we bought a house! we had just got married and found a home. Dallas will always be my home. I say this lightly now because Roseville has become home.
I’ve dreamed of my brothers and my husband talking about life in our backyard with the lights twinkling, drinks flowing and laughter growing. This is not how I envisioned this conversation, but life. Life takes you on a journey. We live miles away from everyone we have known our entire lives. We have continued relationships, fostered new ones, experienced time change confusion and felt alone. After two years, our house became a home! We may have lots of empty space in our home 🤣, but our hearts our full! I’m so thankful for every person that we have met in this journey and cannot wait to see where this crazy thing called life takes us! 🖤
“Mothers of young children, your work is most holy. You are fashioning the destinies of immortal souls. The powers folded up in the little ones that you hushed to sleep in your bosoms last night, are powers that shall exist forever. You are preparing them for their immortal destiny and influence. Be faithful. Take up your sacred burden reverently. Be sure that your heart is pure and that your life is sweet and clean.” ~ J. R. Miller
