I almost cancelled my wedding dress trial appointment today. I was overwhelmed by crazy emotions. I woke up this morning second guessing the dress that I fell in love with, that I felt so incredibly good in back in June. I felt anxious, fat, uncomfortable and worried that I wasn’t going to love it the same way as the day I said “yes” to it. Pretty awful feelings huh? Well, that’s how I felt real, raw feelings. I rubbed valor on the bottoms of my feet, dropped a drop on my wrists and pressed them together for several seconds, huffed it right from the bottle, took a deep breath and a shower. Shortly after I didn’t think twice and I was on my way to the appointment. I tried my dress on this afternoon, I cried then laughed at myself alone in the dressing room letting go of all of those negative emotions. I felt just right in that moment standing in front of the mirror with my wedding dress on. I felt beautiful. Imagine that? Valor has gotten me through many difficult times but this time was the most difficult, but I pulled through.
It’s officially wedding season and things are in full swing, including engagement sessions! 💍
It's the perfect time to hang out with your photographer, feel comfortable in front of the camera, get immersed in nature and snuggle in close to the one you love. We know it can be nerve-racking (we've been there too), but it's all about having fun and being yourselves. 🤗
Thanks Jd + Zivana for braving the cold and getting amongst the snow! ❄️
Sumptuous, soulful, evocative, wild, sensuous, powerful and feminine.
Instant goosebumps when I saw this film of ‘La Lune’ by @lunabeabride, shot on Camber Sands in August this year under a full moon. Film by @mslivenska, photography @alli.studio.
