Bom domingo!
Book #74 📚
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for a free review copy! .
I stayed up late last night finishing this one.Things You Save in a Fire is a wonderful story that truly looks at what it means to forgive. Cassie is a strong, independent female firefighter. Her past has made her tough as she seems to have faced a lot of hurt through a relationship gone bad with a boy on her 16th birthday and her mother walking away from her family that same day. When her mother calls asking for help Cassie is conflicted. After deciding to go to her mother she starts a new job in a old school boys only firehouse. Knowing she needs to prove her position she works harder then the rest and is tougher then ever. That is until she meets the new rookie. Her walls start to come down. Love is something she has not let in but she can't help herself with him. Cassie learns about love, loss and forgiveness. through her time spent with her mom and in her new job. She realizes that sometimes the best thing you can do is forgive yourself. I really enjoyed this story and the last half of the book had me on the edge of my seat. I loved seeing the journey Cassie went on and how she opened up and changed. A really heartfelt story that will have you feeling all the feels after you put it down. Now I need to read the authors previous book.
Happy Sunday! What have you been reading or doing this weekend? I went school shopping for my son yesterday who will be starting JK this September. I feel completely overwhelmed about having to pack lunches and what he needs. He seems ready but mom is anxious about the change! ❤
Do y’all have a favorite book of all time?
People have asked me about mine frequently since I’ve joined Bookstagram and I still can’t answer the question.
Which is why I’m using this book as a stand in today to represent all of the books I love haha!
Do y’all have a top ten of favorite books? A favorite series? One specific one you love more than all others? Or are you just as indecisive as me? No worries, I’ll stop with the questions now.

Sampai akhirnya cahaya Ilahi memberi terang. Menunjukkan jalan iman dan jalan islam.
Namun, menjadi mualaf barulah sebuah mula.

Evening bookworms! 🌙 How has everyone's week been? I went camping for the first time in the Brecon Beacons and did a little star gazing and saw one meteor in the Perseid meteor shower, however the clouds soon swooped in and the rain came so it got a little wet and muddy! We made the most of it though and I think if I can get through a rainy camping trip then I can do it again. Hopefully next time it will be dry and one day I'll see a clear sky full of stars ✨
One thing I loved about camping was reading in a tent in the rain which was very fitting as my current read is Sherwood which has rain on the cover 😍 There's something about books and rain that feels beautiful ☔
I'm currently LOVING Sherwood, a Robin Hood retelling stand alone. Hunted is a Beauty and the Beast retelling as part of Meagan Spooner's fairytale retellings (which is also amazing) 📚
Have you ever been camping to see some stars? 💫

It was a touching read about childhood best friends of different social classes finally breaking through societal pressures and expectations to find love.
McKenna was likable even while he was plotting for Aline’s downfall. I was rooting for him all along. The final exchange between them where the truth is revealed is so well written and perfectly fits the reaction I would have expected.
I am a big fan of Lisa Kleypas’ and she is definitely one the authors whose books I would buy without a thought.
Are there any authors whose entire works you have read?

"She could not tear her thoughts away from her situation. She had to marry, Father would accept nothing less. "
Happy Sunday, lovelies 🕊
Hows your weekend? Mine has been good. Relaxing. I started reading, Finding Eleanor, ( A Regency Romance ) by @catelyn_c.wilson and I'm loving it. Its giving Pride and Prejudice feels. Mostly it's the time and setting that the story is taking place. It's so fascinating to me. .
I plan to stay in bed as long as possible and continue devouring this book🤗
Thank you so much @cross_and_hammer_publishing for sending a copy. 😽
Finding Eleanor will be available
Tuesday, Aug 20th
Eleanor had always dreamed of a life as a poet. That is until her simple role as the great-granddaughter of an insignificant baronet is completely changed by a sudden inheritance. All at once the days of writing poetry and wandering the countryside freely are over when her father becomes the Earl of Bowland. Her relative freedom is traded for arduous social engagements and shallow conversations in her new life as a lady of the 'ton'. Her father soon begins to orchestrate Eleanor's future life, one that benefits him and his new position in society. As Eleanor attempts to find her footing and some measure of happiness in her new home in Lancashire, her father’s strange and sudden moods, and penchant for alcohol, cause headaches for the family. When Eleanor encounters her neighbor, Martin Darlington, the Viscount of Aughton, her father’s command that she marry the son of an influential duke becomes even more difficult to accept. Meanwhile, Martin, who is acquainted with painful family secrets of his own, battles his growing feelings for Eleanor, a lady of wealth and a member of the peerage... two things he loathes most about the brainless women of the 'ton'. As the pair are constantly thrown together they grow closer, and find the friendship and understanding both had craved. Eleanor’s continued desire to write poetry, spurred on by Martin's encouragement, threatens her relationship with her father. As Eleanor faces a struggle she never saw coming, she realizes that she must decide whether to honor the duty she has to her family, or that to her heart

Hope you are taking time to sit back, throw your feet up, grab a glass of bubbly and relax this weekend! You deserve it!
✨📚Imagine wait a for no one, and comes for everyone 📚✨ Lately, I've been really stressed out. I haven't gotten nearly as much writing as I'd like to, which just makes me more stressed 😖😂
How do find peace and inspiration when you aren't able to #write?
