It is very apt that one of our bikes is named the "Spirit of Cornwall" as not only has that bike seen a busy weekend, it also sums up the spirit of the County our volunteers have the privilege of serving.
All our volunteers would like to say a very big heartfelt thank you to all the organisers of the events that we have had the pleasure of attending over this last weekend across our County.
We started off on Saturday being a part of the Kehelland Village Fete and Annual Tea Treat which had a fabulous atmosphere and we were made most welcome.
Sunday saw a stunning scorcher of a day with two big events across the County with John, Len, Brian, Si and Chris attending Truro Bike & Trike on Lemon Quay and Jayne, Ian Graham, Mr T with "In Memory of Burt" and "Spirit of Cornwall" heading for the Wadebridge Wheels 2019 event held at The Royal Cornwall Showground at Wadebridge. What an event that was, with an array of over 1,200 spectacular vehicles ranging from Fords, Mini's, Lotus, Ferrari, Porche to name but a few.
Then the icing on the cake had to be the record breaking footfall of the largest one day event in the Country at Stithians Show 2019 where Tim, Jayne, John and Richard accompanied by "Spirit of Cornwall and "Spirit of Charity" had an enjoyable day meeting the crowds that had flocked to enjoy the weather, and everything this show had to offer.
But a very big thank you must go to every individual and family we have met over these last few days and for taking the time to stop, learn about our charity and lend your support.
There will be more updates as the week progresses on these various events.
The most important thing to remember is once we pack down our gazebo at these events, and headed for home on our Counties roads we passed a CBB Fleet bike rider or two riding for life, and it is YOU who keep us doing this.
