What if we could change the way we view exercise?
What if it wasn’t all about pain and torture and trying to fit into a smaller pair of pants?
What if it were simply about gratitude for the gift of a healthy body?
What if it were as simple as an act of self care and self-love?
What would that look like for you?
Is there a type of exercise or movement that you really love to do? Do that!
Exercise can and should be a celebration of your body and what it is capable of.
Now take a minute and tag a friend who inspires you to move your body every day. Someone who’s got this exercise thing locked and loaded. Tell them how they inspire you to move and let’s share the fitness today. Go!

In my world, Sunday’s are rest days. Which, comes at a good time as my bod is starting to feel some accumulated strain from the heavy lifting. And not just strain in the sense of muscle soreness, but rather in the ‘this might be a bad pain’ sense. SO, taking the day to rest and refuel. I’m also considering changing up my approach to lifting for the next few weeks as well, for no other reason than to just change things up and keep things interesting. Any experienced gym rats out there have opinions on the high reps / low weights vs. low reps / heavy weights debate, specifically through the lens of gaining muscle size? I’ve been lifting heavy for awhile now and am thinking of downshifting the weight but increasing reps to lower the strain on my body for awhile...🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️
Here’s to a restful and relaxing Sunday y’all. Make it a great one!!
