If you experience all or some of the symptoms above with no signs of a Headache or Migraine, you may actually be experiencing an episode of Silent Migraine!!🤕 Silent migraines although uncommon, do exist! In Silent Migraines, you do not experience Headaches but still have associated symptoms like dizziness, nausea, increased light and sound sensitivity.😎 An episode of Silent Migraine may last from 1 day to a week in severe cases and may present at a frequency of once a month or 1 to 2 times year. 📆⠀
The biggest concern about silent migraines are that it is usually misdiagnosed because Silent Migraine suffers and their doctors are often looking into the ear or brain as they believe the symptoms experienced in a Silent Migraine is vertigo related or brain related😳 However, brain scans often come back normal and the Ear, Nose and Throat Specialist rules out any vertigo related conditions. 🧐 Silent Migraine Sufferers often put up with Silent Migraines not realising that the cause of their Silent Migraines is likely to be coming from the neck! 😳⠀

A plateau usually happens because your body becomes efficient in the process you’ve been implementing. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Sometimes I see people wanting to go for a long run after a disappointing # on the scale... ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
they seek to punish themselves which actually causes more damage.

💫Transition from one season to the next oftentimes brings a reset of goals and a recalibration of actions. As you do, remember this:
▫️You are not defined by the number of times you put your diet on hold so that you could enjoy a summer vacation.
▫️You are not defined by the moments you had fun instead of grinding.
▫️You are not defined by the number of times you spent wallowing over your bra size, how bloated you felt, or how negative your attitude was.
▫️You are not defined by the amount of attention you received from others.
▫️You are not defined by the number of degrees or certifications you have to your name.
❤️You are the ambitions that drive you.
🧡You are the content of your character.
💛You are the passion that sparks your joy- amiright @ebailey_fitness
💚You are the things you say and the moments you laugh at.
💙You are the way you treat people.
💜AND YOU ARE CAPABLE OF WHATEVER YOU PUT YOUR MIND TO, AND ACTION BEHIND.
Remember: It’s okay if you slipped back into negative patterns. Integrating and practicing new, positive patterns are hard to implement and consistently create.
But once you set the intention to transform, and you put hardcore effort behind it, a slip is just that— a slip. It doesn’t mean your progress is ruined.
Remind yourself WHY you made the goals you did. Create patterns and habits to support that, and redirect yourself as often as necessary. No guilt, no shame. Just do it. Over and over again, as many times as it takes.
Welcome this new season with love, support, and gratitude for just how far you’ve come already, and allow yourself to bask in the excitement that’s still yet to come.💫
