Day handstand challenge ! (As well as learning how to be my own camera man) ... Day 2. Balance
Here I start with some hamstring openers so called “good mornings” and then a tree variation with some closed eyes/hand variations but you wouldn’t know since my head is chopped off 😃😂🤨😫🤔....second, I’m trying to hold thru my palms and core (a lot) so I can move my arms/try to walk my knees up. I’m doing these to feel comfortable in handstand and learning how to correct my alignment when I’m up there ...hope u enjoy what balance are u trying to Execute?

Practicing. Definitely making progress! Some days are better than others. Always remember to give yourself grace and celebrate even small victories! Happy Tuesday!
Question for you guys—do you pay attention to who you’re following?
Or pay attention to how who you’re following makes you feel?
If not, I suggest you reevaluate.
If you find yourself feeling WORSE after scrolling through your feed...something is wrong with your feed!
Guys, it’s simple.
Don’t follow people you compare yourself to. Follow people you are inspired by.
Don’t follow people who make you feel like you’re not doing enough. Follow people who motivate you to keep going.
Don’t follow people who only show the happy, shiny, go-lucky, edited moments. Follow people that show the raw, real, mess-up moments.
Instagram can be a nasty, evil tool if used incorrectly. But it can be a positive, uplifting source of strength if used correctly.
Use it correctly. Check your follows so you don’t have to check yourself 😙
The reason WHY you’re not seeing fitness results
We’re told, all you have to do is just
1️⃣ Eat healthy = 2️⃣ workout = 3️⃣ RESULTS.
UM but what’s considered healthy? Does that mean I can’t eat anything but fruits & veggies?
I guess if I eat pizza that will make me fat so I probably shouldn’t eat pizza. Better yet, I’m going to stop eating bread all together because that’ll help me reach my goals sooner.
What you don’t realize is once you THINK you can’t have certain foods or you place a limit on what you can & cannot eat it actually works against you.
When you tell yourself you can’t eat, lets say, “donuts” you’re essentially using your willpower to say “no donut for me today” but as soon as your willpower runs out.. guess what you’re going to do? You’ll eat the dang donut & more often than not, overindulge & eat too much your stomach hurts.
You’ll do this because you originally told yourself that you couldn’t have it.
Instead of eating a restrictive diet, I coach my clients on how implement a mentality of “moderation”… this will literally change your world & body when it comes to food. It damn well changed mine.
If you are eating an overly restrictive diet this is NOT sustainable. WHY?
Because when you cut out “bad foods” cold turkey you may see quick results but as soon as you start eating foods you cut out, you will gain the weight back QUICK + you’ll gain fat much faster too. Unless you’re trying to give up your favorite foods for the rest of your life (whats the fun in that…?) I HIGHLY recommend ditching the restrictive diet idea.
I get Q’s all the time asking how I eat froyo, ice cream, pizza, tacos & maintain the body that I have? It’s because I live a healthy, balanced NON restrictive lifestyle. A life without foods I love wouldn’t be fun.
I get it, society tells us to not eat & I’m here telling you to do the opposite but lemme tell YOU - you never have to deprive yourself of foods you love or eat minimal calories to get the body you want.
