Acid rain is mainly caused by humans releasing high levels of sulfuric or nitric acid into our air when burning fossil fuels. These acids will adhere to the rain droplets and fall to our planet where they are a detriment to our environment. Normal rain fall has a PH of 5.6, while acid rain is considered 4.5 or lower. The lower levels of PH upsets the balance in our waters causing some aquatic species to die and killing plants. When these chemicals are mixed with our waters and soils, we will end up ingesting these toxins which are also detrimental to humans. This was captured with Nikon D850 in a Aquatech elite 2 water housing with a breakthrough filter. Have a great day!

LIFE IN MOTION
Today I want to share with you something a little different. On a little more to in-depth of why I want to share with you all these captions I put with my images.
A couple of years ago I made the choice to reach out for help from a mentor @taylorcecil . Who specialised in sports specific rehab and holistic health.
At the time I was in quite a bad place. I was drinking and partying a lot & living a very unhealthy lifestyle. Mentally I was in a very bad place, I felt very unworthy of myself. I was always seeking acceptance, acknowledgement and appreciation from others. My ego always got in the way of all decisions I was making & made for a cocktail of bad chemicals in my body.
I'm not sharing this for you to feel sorry for me or anything.
But I wanted to bring value to anyone who reads this. Whether it is 1 person or 10. Just know that at any time you can change the course of your life.
Mine ended up me leading to me being consciously aware of my ego and judgment on everything that was happening around me or to me.
Not saying it doesn't get in the way today, I have to consciously check in with this on a constant basis, but fuck I live such a happier and more fulfilling life.
The brain is like any muscle in the body. You have to commit to training every day to see the results. Just know you have to start somewhere & enjoy the process.
You're perfect already, I hope you know that 🙌🙌
monochrome edit of a favourite shot of @nick_crott // Backstory: I accidentally set my f-stop to 1.8 this day (I normally like somewhere between 2.8-5.6) which led to a lot of out of focus images. A good challenge non the less and allowed for a real sense of depth when the subject was in focus. Luckily this one was perfectly in focus the only thing that bugs me is the horizon cutting the subject but hey, can’t win all the time right?
Evening swims in the homeland•°
Fresh autumn colours with a nip in the air.
Thanks @tessa_mary_rose. I rather liked our mixture of fresh water and sea water this eve...even though it was brown.
I have many more beauties from this evening. .
