It's been a rough week with #antidepressants . Trying to adjust my body to a new medication has been hard and there's times where I ask myself if I should keep going at it.
I know it's getting better at least.
I appreciate those of my friends who have put up with my symptoms along with me.My moods, my overall craziness when I really need someone.
I'm sorry if you will have to deal with me for a while longer.

After yesterday's fiasco where I was trapped by the line of cars trying to get into #Popeyes, I decided that I was going to seek out this sandwich and form my own opinion. After three different stores and over two hours of my time driving and waiting in line today, I got the chance to try each of the two sandwiches. Right off the bat, I thought they had accidentally given me two Classic sandwiches instead of a #Spicy one. But, it turns out, unlike Wendy's or Chick Fila, they don't actually do anything different to the breading of the meat. Instead, Popeyes uses a spicy mayonnaise on the sandwich, which in my case, was practically non existent. It wasn't until my last few bites that I even tasted a difference between the two options. In contrast, the classic version had regular mayonnaise on it instead. As far as the taste of the chicken, it tastes just like Popeyes chicken tenders. It seems to have the same batter as all their other items, so if you like that taste, you'll enjoy the chicken. The pickles they put on it are thicker than Chick Fila's version, and give the sandwhich more of that pickely taste. The bun had a strong butter flavor and seemed to be toasted. Wrapping this up, they aren't bad sandwiches, but it's definitely not worth the effort I had to get it, going to two different restaurants who both were out of the sandwiches, and then waiting forever to move through a line inside at the third. In the future, I'll be sticking with my legit spicy chicken sandwich at Chick Fila 😎. Thanks for reading!

I personally take 4 different tablets daily to make my life much more tolerable. I take stuff for my mood, my pain, my palpitations and my stomach. If I didn't take them, I wouldn't be able to work or feel alright. And that's fine!
I credit my medication with making me appear as though I'm alright most of the time. Without it, I'd be in a state. I tried going cold turkey previously and boy it didn't work. So I've been playing around with stuff until I've found the balance that's right for me 😊
Tablets are nothing to be afraid or ashamed of, no matter what they are. I'm on a controlled substance at the moment that I have to sign for every time I pick it up, but it's what makes me feel semi normal.
These things are around and have been developed for these reasons, so don't be afraid to utilise them 💊
Couldn't agree more @brooksrunninguk 🙌🏻 If you're having a bad day, a rough time, go for a run. If you're having a great day, a brilliant time, go for a run. In short, go for a run. It's free, it's freeing, and it's all yours for the taking.
Have you ever wanted to reach a goal? GOD I hope so 😂!!! Have you ever TRIED to reach that goal? Okay so that of course is better than having zero goals, duh. BUT! Have you tried and haven’t succeeded? I’m guilty FOR SURE. Many times in my life I told myself, “I REALLY NEED TO TRY! I’ve had it! I hate feeling like this. I’m trying really hard this time to lose weight!!!” And what happened... the success didn’t happen. At least not back in the day when I couldn’t understand why anything I tried didn’t work.
Now I know it’s because I TRIED. That’s it. Wait what? Isn’t trying a good thing? Well again, it’s better than not even setting a goal. But the success of reaching (we’ll use weight loss as the example) a certain weight or losing a certain amount of fat was not happening for me. It’s all about how you frame your mind around your goal.
To find success, replace “try” with “do.” It’s actually quite simple. When you DECIDE - there is no trying. Using the word “try” gives you permission to be okay with only going at it for a certain amount of time. It gives you permission to give up. “Welllppp I tried 🤷🏻♀️!!!”....like NO SISTER! That is you stopping yourself from actually achieving anything.
As soon as you use different vocabulary, “I’m not stopping until I get there. This IS HAPPENING. I’m DOing it!!!” You see the difference? Even the smallest adjustments in the way we speak to ourselves can completely separate the successful from the unsuccessful.
Take a look at how you’re framing your goals. Can you word them better? And kick TRYING to the curb already!!!!! You got this.
