Where did summer go 🤷🏽♀️ that flew by super fast but it was by far the most meaningful and life changing summer of my life.
I was in East Africa enjoying every second of the most amazing safari and then volunteering at summer camp with Under the Same Sun, a charity that works to support people with albinism in Tanzania 🇹🇿 [see my ‘giving back’ stories highlights for more]. I came back a different person and I can’t wait to share it all with you.
But I didn’t stop there. As soon as I returned, I had to pack for my move to Brooklyn, NYC and in a week no less...🤦🏽♀️ I had no idea where I was going to stay as I had yet to find an apartment in the big city but as soon as the movers left my old apartment in Minneapolis, I hopped in my 🚘 and started driving. And just like everything else in life, it all worked out 😀
I’ve been here about 6 weeks now and while I’m still getting settled in, I absolutely ❤️ it 😉 I’ve always been a big city kinda girl so this is where I’m supposed to be, at least for now... I’ll be sharing more about my new digz, my adventures in Africa and everything else we’ve got going on in the coming weeks. In the meantime... 😘 Photo: @moashleyphotos
You know that one casual dress that saves the day anytime? Yes!
Do you like yours, fit or flare? Or who says you cannot have it all cos you actually can🤷♀️
This simple dress can be styled in both ways. It has a side adjustment which makes that possible 👆👆
On Sunday 15th September @abikesuppers and I delivered ORATURE an evening of African story telling. Thank you so much to all that attended and contributed to a wonderful evening. Food is one part of the private dining experience, yet ambience and entertainment are vital components. @abikesuppers knows just how to create a natural and comfortable ambience as captured in this stunning photo by @th3photographer
