Sometimes I become a worrywart and tend to overthink things. Do you experience those days too? Thank God I have my tools to divert my attention away from overthinking. And then I saw this quote. It has since then become a constant reminder for me to take things one day at a time. Live more, worry less. Indeed. 💙 #reposted
“To let go does not mean to get rid of. To let go means to let be. When we let be with compassion, things come and go on their own.” –Jack Kornfield⠀
Holding on to pain doesn’t fix anything. Replaying the past over and over again doesn’t change it, and wishing things were different doesn’t make it so. In some cases, especially when it comes to the past, all you can do is accept whatever it is you’re holding on to and then let it go. That’s how everything changes. You have to let go of what is hurting you, even if it feels almost impossible. Deciding to hold on to the past will hold you back from creating a strong sense of self — a self that isn’t defined by your past, but rather by who you want to be. Oddly enough, painful feelings can be comfortable, especially if they’re all you know. Some people have trouble letting go of their pain or other unpleasant emotions about their past because they think those feelings are part of their identity. In some ways, they may not know who they are without their pain. This makes it impossible for them to let go.⠀ #love#faith#hope#inspiration#believe#motivation#god#quote#life#bible#christian#quotes#peace#prayer#spiritual#wisdom#inspire#truth#selflove#beyou#encouragement#scripture#missions#ministry#walkthruthebible#gospel#livegodsword#dailyinspiration#verseoftheday#meditation

While studying #Ayurveda years ago, I learned the concept of Ancestral Memory. I have come to know intimately what this means, as a primary task of mine in this lifetime is to heal inherited trauma, deeply imbedded in my bloodline. Where genes are passed through family lines, so are patterns of behavior, including traumas. Until someone in the bloodline chooses to work though and release the trauma, it is repeated through the generations...
This is courageous, harrowing and difficult work. And often thankless- family members stuck in the patterns are often afraid of change and react against the person doing the healing work. But the spiritual gifts are worth the effort. Plus... #payitforward#ancestralhealing#wiseearth#traumarecovery#selflove
No one is ahead of you or behind. You are exactly where you need to be. It's not a contest...it's your life, your time and your OWN journey.

to clarify loud & clear,
@kingjames is/and will always be daddy
on a real note, I really look up to what this man represents. Becoming a fan was one thing but understanding why someone works so hard for the job they’ve pursued in life is another. Watching this dude flourish and be the best of the best along side his family, is a loss for words.
They’ve fought to be at the top and in every aspect their hard work & dedication towards life is what I admire most.
I hope to be my only motivation someday.
I hope to be this confident in my own strength.
I hope to have all my hard work show for itself.
Moral of the story - hard work and dedication for the goals you hope to achieve are only ingredients for success.
You hold the rest of it. In your very own hands.
Ball is in your court.
P.S. I was sweating walls to balls in these because I don’t have my AC on yet :))) #godbless@lakers
