Me 99% of the time looking like a female Les Dawson 🤨 and me on a very rare date night 😈
I thought I’d do a little post about makeup in your late 30’s and beyond as I feel it’s something no one really talks about 🤷🏻♀️ I can’t slick concealer under my eyes like a YouTuber, no offence 😌
I’m 39 next year and I’ve noticed its helped changing my makeup and skin care.
Good makeup starts with a good base and I’m a huge fan of dermaplaning, especially in this weather when my forehead starts peeling off 😫 and it also helps diminish fine lines aswell as removing dead skin cells and peach fuzz 🍑
For makeup I use products that give warmth to the skin and avoid anything that dries my skin out. Bye bye Studio Fix 👋
I also like to go ham on the blusher 🙆🏻♀️ I feel this instantly takes years off me.
For setting powder I need something brightening like Huda Beauty Easy Bake and Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish.
For lashes I like ones that really make my eyes pop and Chloe Elizabeth lashes by Doll are one of my favourites 🙌🏼 For a highlighter, keeping with the warmth to my skin, I love Mother of Pearl by Topshop as it has a lovely peach undertone.
These are just my little tips and I hope it helps some one as I’ve spent a fortune trying to find something that suits us ladies with a few extra wonderful years to our faces and lines that show we’ve laughed 💃
and don’t stress about getting older, it’s a privilege denied to many 🙏 ♥️ Prep:
