Back in 2018, Waves for Water Philippines donated 35 Sawyer water filters to seven communities in Palawan, across El Nido to Coron. These filters, built to accommodate 1 million gallons of water, will catch anything larger than 0.1 micron including bacteria such as E. coli and Salmonella.
I just want to take the opportunity to post these before World Water Day ends. Nine million out of 101 million Filipinos rely on unsafe water, according to @water. In some parts of Palawan, residents must spend two hours everyday traveling back and forth between neighbouring islands to gain access to clean, drinking water.

Vienna, “the most liveable city” according to the rankings done by The Economist. This survey was apparently based on the “judgement of in-house experts and a field correspondent based in each city”. Lol why do these so called experts (and not the residents) get to decide whether the city is liveable or not. Liveable for whom? 🤷🏻♂️
