This is how I honestly felt today when I hit the play for my MM100.
If I would have let the negative beliefs consume me I would have said, fu*k it and called it a night.
This is where all the incredible resources and so many amazing women cheering you on make coaching one of the most exhilarating journey's I have decided to embark on!
You see with this tribe when you need that kick in the a** to get you jump started they are there. Their stories, their motivation and the positive energy is undescribable.

Fall food can be healthy, delicious, and nourishing fuel for your body. Stop to think about each meal as you put it together. Is there a source of clean protein? Have you added a high-quality, healthy fat? Are there vegetables included? Is it homemade?
Or is it processed and packaged in a bag or a box? If so, stop right there.
This photo is part of my breakfast this morning. It’s one chopped up sweet potato roasted in avocado oil, a tiny drizzle of raw, local honey, organic cinnamon sprinkled on top, and a small portion of chopped walnuts. I’m enjoying this with two eggs over-medium. (Eggs rarely look pretty in food pics! 😃) My meal was loaded with protein, vitamins, minerals, and omega fatty acids. It’s quality nutrition and far less costly then hospital bills.
All this to say...think about what you’re putting in your body. Read your labels. Better yet, make it homemade. I promise it doesn’t take that much longer to prepare, and it will taste a gazillion times better, and be more nourishment for your body at the same time. I’m busy too!
It starts with a plan. Once you discover how great you feel when your body is adequately nourished, you’ll never want to go back to quick, convenience, junk foods again. 😉
Is it just me, or is there this weird stigma around moms not showing off their bodies and working hard to keep themselves a priority?⠀
If anything, moms need it more than anyone. They need to pour their energy into themselves, strive for success, feel worthy and sexy on the daily!⠀
I was in that real harsh mom fog for a long time. You know that state of mind where you’re just going through the motions, counting down the seconds until the next nap time, not showering for a full week, wearing the same food stained sweat pants 3 days in a row, and having absolutely zero ambition, zero fire in your soul, and zero vision for your own personal future successes.⠀
Finding a way to workout from home, be selfish for that solid 30-60mins, feel f*cking STRONG, and know I’m working on my body, gave me that FIRE again 🔥⠀
Feeling sexy in your own skin, feeling like you can take on the world, feeling in control of your life instead of feeling like it’s passing you by, is so important . It’s completely changed my world 💕⠀

Over my four years of high school athletics and five years of collegiate athletics I have learned a TON about food! Actually, fun fact before I decided to pursue exercise science as my profession I wanted to be a chef 👩🍳😱
As I am now a high school and a college coach I have learned that many of my athletes have no idea where to start with their nutrition! They want to eat well and compete at a high level. But most don’t know how or what to fuel their bodies with! SO...I have created this running blog/vlog for YOU! Yes you! Whether you are a junior high, high school, college, or ex collegiate athlete this is a place for you to come and learn. To ask questions. To try new things. And to build community!

Because no, you won’t...not with that mentality. •
Thinking that “𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐚𝐲” you will just wake up & be the person you wanna be is such a trap
You 𝐇𝐀𝐕𝐄 to make the decision to 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐊 𝐓𝐎𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐃𝐒 being that person & you 𝐇𝐀𝐕𝐄 to do it now. Or most likely, you never will. •
There will 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 be other things to get done. Laundry. Dishes. Kids to feed. Husbands to love on. Dogs to pet. Etc etc. •
But why should those things take more of a priority in your life than your 𝚑𝚎𝚊𝚕𝚝𝚑?
𝐀𝐍𝐒𝐖𝐄𝐑: 𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐘 𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐔𝐋𝐃𝐍'𝐓.

I’ve been there, I get it! I’ve felt self conscious about what others opinions would be, allowed my fear of failing to prevent me from even starting. I told myself i didn’t have the time. I couldn’t add another thing to my plate. I kept saying “maybe next month after - - - “ but every month when i thought of starting i kept finding myself coming up with excuse after excuse. .
YOU GUYS! There will never be the “perfect” time to start. There will always be something going on, our plates will always feel too full. I GET IT! I’ve been there
BUT, Nothing will change unless you make the change!
I know it can be uncomfortable and difficult to make a change but you don’t have to do this alone. I’m here, for you, to cheer you on and pick you up when you fail. Because let’s face it, we all have to be willing to fail to move forward. .
STOP telling yourself “I can’t” and start telling yourself “I CAN!”
Don’t let another day of your life pass by with you just watching from the sidelines. Take back your life and let’s do this!
MEN'S YOGA MONTH:
"In 2018 I had just completed an intensive 6 month treatment for an aggressive form of Lymphoma. I was incredibly stressed and physically weak. As I began the long process of rehabilitating myself, it became clear that I needed some tools or skills that would enable me to cultivate calm and stillness in my mind.
